The Transplant Center hosts a number of fundraising events every year. There are many ways to get involved. Whether you volunteer, sponsor an event, donate an auction item, help us seek event sponsors, or just show up to bowl, eat, or play golf - you are helping. Our events are a lot of fun and they are a great way to bring our "transplant family" together: doctors, nurses, physician assistants, social workers, clerks, and countless others join our patients and families to help reach our goals. Please plan to make at least one of our fundraising events YOUR event this year - there's no better time than now to make a commitment to join in the fun!
VITA REDITA GALA DINNER AND AUCTION on November 12, 2011
Please join us for an elegant evening in honor of the University of Michigan Transplant Center.
The Vita Redita (Latin for Life Restored) is one of the most highly anticipated gala events in the area;
featuring an extravagant strolling dinner, premium bar, live music and dancing, and silent and live auctions.
The event will be Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the Fox Hills Country Club in Plymouth, MI.
Individual tickets $175
Tables of 8 or more begin at $1,500

BIG HOUSE, BIG HEART RACE on October 9th, 2011
Get your running shoes and workout clothes ready. It's time to race for a great cause- The Michigan Transplant Center.
This year's race will be held on Sunday, October 9th. You can run, walk, stroll or wheel through the 1 mile, 5K or 10K event.
The course takes you through the University of Michigan's beautiful campus ending with a spectacular finish--a run through the Big House tunnel
and onto the field. You'll finish on the 50 yard line and watch yourself on the Big House Big Screen!
Upon registration make sure to sign up to be a part of the Transplant Team by choosing "UM Transplant Center" under the charity team section of the registration form.
